Wallace Fabrications was formed as a limited company in 2017, expanding into structural steel construction market, in addition to it’s bespoke ornate wrought iron manufacturing, with the more recent addition of plasma cut metal artwork, which you can see some examples of throughout our website. At it’s core, the company provides constructional steel fabrication services, working with our in house design & detailing team, we deliver technically challenging solutions, choices of designs and bespoke one off’s, that are made to satisfy our customers exact specifications.
All of the steel constructions or products are manufactured and fabricated by our skilled team, at our Northallerton workshops. We are proud that Wallace Fabrications Ltd delivers an end to end design, manufacturing and installation service, both locally throughout Yorkshire, around the North East and across the entire UK & into Europe.
Wallace Fabrications has always been a big supporter of its local community. We still today believe that no job is too small, we understand that supporting the people who have supported us, has been key to our success.
Thankfully, the word spread and our reputation has grown over the years, and we now find ourselves working both locally, across the UK and into Europe, partnering with businesses large and small. The team are always keen to explore new areas where steel fabrications are a requirement to deliver something new.
The younger members of the Wallace family, are after all the future, and they already understand that some diversification is necessary, so that the business doesn’t become stale.
Wallace Fabrications roots go back to the 1970’s, when there was a business that was known as J. Wallace & Sons (the current owners grandfather) he was a blacksmith & steel fabricator in Northallerton. That set the foundation for the business that continues to thrive today, which is currently operated by the 2nd, 3rd & 4th generations of the family.
Having amassed hundreds of years of combined knowledge, we are proud to say, that on most occasions, for your challenge, we have the answer!

Wallace Fabrications became accredited for UKCA marking in execution class 2 in 2012, and we continue to be today, giving all of our clients the peace of mind in knowing, that all of our work is delivered with full conformity.
Since 2019, Wallace Fabrications LTD have been accredited with SMAS work safe approval, which ensures safe operation and conformity to procedures/standards that are laid down and monitored by The UK Health & Safety Executive.
